REPAIR AND SERVICING T&Cs

Bike Servicing

Bicyclenation Ltd will complete the required tasks specified on the job ticket provided when you drop off your bicycle at our store. Prior to starting any work, we will assess your bicycle's condition. If we determine that additional work or parts replacement is necessary, we will inform you of the requirements and associated costs. We will not proceed with any additional work or part replacements without your consent. Please be aware that choosing not to proceed with recommended services may affect your bicycle's optimal performance, and Bicyclenation disclaims liability for any resulting defects.

Subcontracting

In certain cases, Bicyclenation may subcontract specific services, such as suspension and carbon frame servicing and repairs, to third parties. However, Bicyclenation retains responsibility for the actions and services provided by any subcontractors engaged. This arrangement does not affect your statutory rights.

Completion of Work

Bicyclenation Ltd strives to complete all bicycle servicing and repairs promptly and within the estimated timeframe provided. However, completion time may vary based on component and parts availability.

Price & Payment

A price estimate for the scheduled work will be provided by Bicyclenation staff. The final price, which includes any authorized additional work, will match the quoted amount. Full payment is required upon completion of the service before we release your bicycle. Bicyclenation Ltd reserves the right to withhold the bicycle until payment is made in full.

Collection of Bicycles

Bicycles must be collected within 3 days of notification of service completion by Bicyclenation Ltd unless prior arrangements have been made. Failure to collect within this period will result in a storage fee of £10 per day. If bicycles remain unclaimed for 6 months from the service date, Bicyclenation Ltd reserves the right to consider them abandoned and may take necessary measures, including the sale of the bicycle, to recover the repair or service costs.

Warranty

Replacement parts provided by Bicyclenation Ltd are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. Additionally, all labour and workmanship are guaranteed for a period of 3 months from the date of service. To qualify for warranty service, the bicycle must be maintained according to the manufacturer's guidelines, proof of service must be provided, and Bicyclenation Ltd must be allowed to conduct necessary repairs. Warranty is void in cases of fair wear and tear, improper use, criminal damage, fire, theft, misuse, or continued use after defects develop.
